Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondents 1 to 4 for their wilful disobeying the order of this Court dated 17.08.2015 made in WP No.17583 of 2015.

ORDER

This contempt petition was filed on the ground that the order passed by this Court in the writ petition was not complied with. 2.As a subsequent development, the petitioner filed W.P.No.37922 of 2015 seeking for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to broadcast his channel. This writ petition was dismissed by an order dated 09.06.2016. This writ petition was only the sequel to the earlier order that was passed by this Court in W.P.No.17583 of 2015, which is the subject matter in this contempt petition. 3.In view of the above development, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly the same is closed. 01.07.2022 Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No Speaking Order/Non-Speaking Order ssr
