Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition and he has also submitted a letter dated 07.12.2016 to the Registry to that effect.

In view of the submission of the letter dated 07.12.2016 to the Registry by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.

Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
