ORDER

[This case has been heard through video conference] This court, by order dated 12.12.2020 made in W.P.No.18441 of 2020, directed the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 02.11.2020 for separate patta in his name in respect of lands in S.No.419/1B, 419/1C, 419/1D, 419/2A, 419/2B and 418/2C4 totally measuring an extent of

Acre 2.50 Cents situated at Melvayalamur Village, Melmalayanur Taluk, Villupuram District. Alleging contempt of order of this court, the petitioner has come forward with the present contempt petition.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Spl. Government Pleader submitted that pursuant to the order of this court, the respondent has passed an order on 29.03.2021 and a copy of the order has also been served on the petitioner.

3. Considering the fact that the the respondent has already passed an order pursuant to the order of this court, no further adjudication is required in this matter. However, the respondent is directed to serve a copy of the order to the petitioner as well as to the learned counsel for the petitioner. If the petitioner has got any grievance, he can very well challenge the order of the respondent dated 29.03.2021 refusing to issue separate patta. This contempt petition is closed accordingly. No costs.
