... Respondents This case is taken up for settlement before the National Lok Adalat. Mr.K.Varadha Kamaraj, learned counsel for the Appellant and Mr.P.Muthu Visakan, learned counsel for the second Respondent are present before this Court.

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal has been filed by the claimant aggrieved by the award of a sum of Rs.3,28,100/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Twenty Eight Thousand and One Hundred only) by the Tribunal for enhancement.

2. During the pendency of the Appeal, the Insurance Company arrived at a settlement with the Appellant/Claimant thereby, the Appellant/Claimant have agreed to receive a sum of Rs.1,70,000/- (Rupees One Lakh and Seventy Thousand Only), in full quit, apart from the amount awarded by the Tribunal.

3. The second respondent/Insurance Company is directed to deposit the enhanced sum within a period of eight weeks from today (11.02.2023).

4. On such deposit, the Appellant/Claimant is entitled to withdraw the entire amount agreed now. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition, if any, is closed.
