This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to withdraw the case in Crime No.113 of 2023 dated 26.04.2023 on the file of Respondent No.3 and entrust the same to Respondent No.2 for investigation of the case by a Competent Officer for fair and transparent investigation and file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate within the time period stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 26.04.2023, no final report is filed till date.

4.The Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of four months. The Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that A1 has already 2/4

been arrested and other accused persons were granted anticipatory bail. 5.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
