Respondents (R5 suo motu impleaded as per order dated 03.04.2018 by TRJ in W.P. No.7678 of 2018) Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents

to conduct election in a fair and democratic manner for S-476, S.Muduganapalli Agricultural Co-operative Society, S.Muduganapalli, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District to be held on 02.04.2018 by considering the representation dated 27.03.2018 and 28.03.2018 by accepting fresh nominations.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.L.P.Shanmuga Sundaram, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4 would submit that in response to the direction given by this Court on 05.04.2018, election has been cancelled by order dated 06.04.2018 in Na.Ka.No.1393/2018/T.nj.1 (4). 2.In view of cancellation of election to the Co-operative Society, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P. is closed.
