Mandamus calling for the entire records of the 2nd respondent relating to the notice for appointment of LPG Distributor published in the news daily namely "THE HINDU" dated 15.10.2010 and the final mark sheet issued by the Selection Committee, the 3rd respondent dated 22.12.2011 insofar as it relates to the guideline No.14.1 of the Broucher of the 2nd respondent corporation in awarding the marks under education and age qualification pertaining to Karumattampatti location in Coimbatore District in Sl.No.60 of the impugned Advertisement and quash the same consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the claim of the petitioner without reference to the marks under the category of education and age and allot the Karumattampatti location in Coimbatore District in Sl.No.60 of the impugned Advertisement published in the news daily namely "THE HINDU" dated 15.06.2010 to the petitioner. ORDER
The prayer made in this writ petition is to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus quashing the notice for appointment of LPG Distributor published in the news daily namely "THE HINDU" dated 15.10.2010 and the final mark sheet issued by the 3rd respondent dated 22.12.2011 and other consequential reliefs. 2.Today, when this matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication.
3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
