Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus, directing the respondent to consider his representations dated 09.09.2014 and 28.04.2015, wherein and whereby, he sought for surveying, fixing boundaries and issuance of Patta in his favour in respect of the property measuring to an extent of 6 1/2 cents bearing S.F.No.327/5, Kallakurichi Village, Villupuram District.

3. Heard both sides.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said request has not been considered so far. Therefore, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 09.09.2014 & 28.04.2018 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner, if those representations have not been disposed of so far. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
