Respondents Contempt Petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents for wilful disobedience of the order of this Court, dated 23.12.2020, in W.A.No.2537 of 2019.

ORDER
(By S.Vaidyanathan,J.) Both the parties would submit that pursuant to G.O.Ms.No.593, Public (Special A) Department, dated 03.10.2023, seniority of the petitioner has been revised. However, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the monetary benefits due to the petitioner have not been paid, for which the learned Additional Advocate General, appearing for the respondents, would submit that a representation may be made by the petitioner mentioning the amount due to him, so that the respondents will arrive at the actual amount payable to the petitioner.
2. In view of the above submissions, the petitioner is expected to make a representation to the respondents within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of a copy of this order and, within three months thereafter, the respondents/Government shall calculate/compute the arrears of amount payable to the petitioner and pay the same. The respondents, who were directed to appear before this Court by an order, dated 25.08.2023, are present and their presence is discharged. They have also produced a copy of G.O. Ms.No.593, dated 03.10.2023, paragraphs 2 and 8 whereof are scanned below :

3. Contempt Petition is, therefore, closed. Consequently, the connected Sub Application Nos.709 and 710 of 2023 are closed. Liberty is also given to the petitioner to take appropriate steps against the respondents in case of non-payment of monetary benefits to him.
