According to the petitioner, the petitioner is working in the respondent transport Corporation and availed CRL on 30.11.2019, 1.12.2019, 5.12.2019, 11.12.2019 and 12.12.2019 in lieu of overtime duty performed by the petitioner. However, the respondent marked those days as absent and consequently, a sum of Rs.4710/- was not paid to the petitioner. The petitioner submitted a detailed representation to the respondents to mark present on those days and to pay the salary for the said days. However, no order has been passed by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has filed the instant writ petition before this Court for the aforesaid prayer.

2. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.1.2020 and pass appropriate orders on merit and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No Costs.
