The petitioner has filed the writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to extend the benefits as per G.O.Ms.No.210, School Education (G1) Department, dated 14.8.2009 and G.O.MS.No.190, Edu. Dept. dated 12.7.2010 for the fixation of Selection/Special Grade Scale of pay by taking count the petitioner of his lower grade services. 2.
When the matter was listed for hearing on 10.10.2023, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Thus, this Court passed an order, directing the Registry to list the matter on 19.10.2023 under the caption "For Dismissal".
3. Even today i.e on 19.10.2023, when the matter was called, there was no representation on behalf of the writ petitioner. Thus, it is evident that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter. 2/4
4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition in W.P.No.27943 of 2012 stands dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
