ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to consider the representation of the petitioner to issue patta.

2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that patta originally stood in the name of his brother. Since, he has died on 15.09.2020, the petitioner name should brought in the patta proceedings.

3. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to enquire the matter and if they found any legal heirs are left by the deceased Aslam, they shall also be heard before passing any orders. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 2/4
