ORDER

This Court, by an order dated 4.12.2013 in W.P.No.11229 of 2013, directed the petitioner herein to give a copy of representation dated 25.4.2011 to the respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of that order and on receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ same in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks thereafter. Since the said representation was not

considered within the specified time, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that as per the direction of this Court, the respondent herein has passed an order dated 23.3.2016 on the representation of the petitioner, by rejecting the same.

3. Since the respondent has passed an order on the representation of the petitioner, I am of the opinion, nothing survives in this contempt petition and hence, the contempt petition is closed. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved over the order passed by the respondent, he is at liberty to challenge the same in a manner known to law, if he is so advised.
