O R D E R
Heard Mr.G.Sankaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.K.Dhananjeyan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner admitted the fact that the process of selection was proceeded with for appointment to the post of Assistant Surgeon (General) and the Writ petitioner had also participated in the process of selection and counseling also was completed on 19.06.2017. This apart, the selected candidates were provided with orders of allotment and the posting order alone is yet to be issued to the selected candidates.
3.The learned counsel for the writ petitioner submitted that one Dr.Madeshwari/Fourth Writ Petitioner, was selected in the process based on her merits in the selection and if so it is for the respondents to issue appropriate orders in this regard. 4.In respect of other writ petitioners, no relief is required, in view of the fact that they had participated in the counseling and not selected.
5.Thus, no further adjudication is required in this Writ Petition and accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. It is made clear that Dr.Madheeshwari/Fourth Writ Petitioner, was selected in the process based on her merits in the selection and, if so it is for the respondents to issue appropriate orders in this regard.
