Respondent(s) PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue separate Patta in the petitioner name for his property measuring to an extent of 3 Acres 70 Cents comprised in S.No.220, situated at Agraharam Thalaiyur Village, Sankari Taluk, Salem District by considering the petitioner's Sub Division Patta transfer Applications dated 18.06.2024 and 25.09.2024 within a time frame that will be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to issue separate patta in the name of the petitioner for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition based on the petitioner's patta transfer applications dated 18.06.2024 and 25.09.2024, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has placed before this Court the written instruction dated 19.02.2026 received by him from the respondents. As seen from the same, the petitioner's applications dated 18.06.2024 and 25.09.2024, seeking for issuance of separate patta in his name have been rejected.

3.Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents also submitted that within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, the final order passed by the respondents rejecting the petitioner's applications will be served on the petitioner. The said undertaking given by respondents through the learned Government Advocate is recorded by this Court.

4.Since the petitioner's aforesaid applications have been rejected, necessarily the petitioner has to challenge the same in the manner known to the petitioner under law, if so aggrieved by the same. 5.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the 4th respondent to serve the final order passed by the 4th respondent rejecting the petitioner's applications dated 18.06.2024 and 25.09.2024, seeking for issuance of separate patta for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition to the petitioner, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the said order if so aggrieved, in the manner known to the petitioner under law. No costs.
