The applicant states that the suit pertains to a movie, which is slated for release in Chennai. Therefore, it is stated that the cause of action has arisen within the jurisdiction of this Court.

2. Upon examining the draft plaint and the affidavit in support of the application, it appears that the cause of action has arisen at least partly within the jurisdiction of this Court. Accordingly, A.No.792 of 2022 is allowed by granting leave to the applicant to sue respondents 1 to 3, 5 to 13, 15 to 28, 31, 33 and 34 before this Court.
