Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the proceedings of the second respondent issued in Memorandum Ref.No.Disc/1112/2017 dated 09.11.2017 and order passed by the first respondent in his proceedings No.Disc/602/2018 dated 02.06.2018 and quash the same with the consequential direction, directing the respondents to treat the period from 23.05.2016 to 14.05.2017 as Privilege Leave available in the petitioner's account and to confer all consequential benefits to the petitioner.

ORDER

After arguing the matter for some time, learned counsel for the respondents brought to the notice of this Court the order passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in W.P.No.17399 of 2020 dated 06.03.2024.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, by going through the aforesaid order seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to approach the appropriate Court having jurisdiction or the Competent Authority. He also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. Considering the submission and the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
