For Petitioners : Mr.M.Subramanian for Mr.B.Ravi For Respondents : Mr.D.Gopal Government Advocate COMMON ORDER The petitioners in both the Civil Revision Petitions seeks an early disposal of L.A.O.P.No.157 of 2024 and L.A.O.P.No.158 of 2024. 2.The property in question had been acquired as early as in 2012 and additional lands were also acquired in the year 2017. It is only after the Writ Petition has been filed that the matter was referred for enhancement of the compensation. The same has been taken on file on 11.07.2024.
3.It is the contention of the petitioners that the second respondent who is the requisition body for whose benefit the lands had been acquired 2/5
is deliberately not receiving notice. The first respondent has already filed their counter and the matter is now adjourned for the counter of the first respondent. In such circumstances, taking note of the fact that the petitioners have been deprived of their land in the year 2012, for which they are yet to receive adequate compensation, directions are issued to the learned Principal District Judge, Kanchipuram, to dispose of L.A.O.P.No.157 of 2024 and L.A.O.P.No.158 of 2024. within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.The Civil Revision Petitions are allowed with the above directions. No costs.
