ORDER

The petitioner's wife Jeema, who was appointed as Anganwadi Assistant at Mookarayanpudhur, Chithoor Village, Edappadi Taluk, Salem District and subsequently passed away on 07.05.2012, leaving behind her husband/the petitioner herein and two sons namely Ramesh and Boopathy, while she was in service, has come to this Court, seeking a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 22.03.2016 and to pay the Family Welfare Fund and other monetary benefits to him on account of death of his wife.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that in spite of repeated representations given by him, the respondents have not come forward to consider his representations. Therefore, he is before this Court.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.Considering the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 22.03.2016 is pending for a long time, the same requires to be disposed of on merits. Therefore, the respondents are directed to consider the said representation and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
