ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose the petitioner's appeal dated 25.05.2019.

2. According to the petitioner, on 25.05.2019, the petitioner said to have filed an appeal before the first

respondent/District Revenue Officer, Villupuram, as against the order dated 11.05.2019 passed by the the Sub Collector, Tindivanam But, so far no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the appeal is pending from the year 2019 and the petitioner is aged about 84 years and hence, the first respondent shall be directed to pass orders on the appeal.

4. Heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, and the petitioner's appeal dated 25.05.2019 is pending with the first respondent/The District Revenue Officer, Villupuram, without going into the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law after giving opportunity to the petitioner as well as other interested parties, if any, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
