Respondent Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent police i.e., Inspector of Police, F-5 Choolaimedu Police Station, Choolaimedu, Chennai-600 094 to register the case pertaining to the petitioner's complaint dated 04.03.2016 in CSR.No.61 of 2016 in accordance with law.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondent to register the case, based on her complaint dated 04.03.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.61 of 2016 before the respondent.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry expeditiously and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1, otherwise the petition may be closed under intimation to the petitioner.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
