ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein to investigate the crime in Crime No.168 of 2017 dated 11.04.2017, on the file of the respondent and file a final report within a time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case was registered in Crime No.168 of 2017 for an offence under Sections 147, 148, 294 (b), 323, 420 and 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002 on 11.04.2017 and thereafter, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition seeking proper investigation in Crime No.168 of 2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Taking into consideration of the fact that case was registered as early as on 11.04.2017, the present criminal original petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.168 of 2017 and file the final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
