Additional Public Prosecutor for R1 COMMON ORDER When these Criminal Original Petitions were taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned counsel for the second respondent in both these Criminal Original Petitions, have filed a joint compromise memo dated 25.01.2017, duly signed by both sides and their counsel, in which it is stated that the matter has been amicably settled at the intervention of the elder members of the family and also the well wishers. It is also stated in the joint compromise memo that both parties are not willing to pursue the complaints any further.
2.Both the parties are present. Their identities have been verified and they accepted the contents in the joint compromise memo as true and genuine.
3.The joint compromise memo is recorded and the same shall form part of this order. In view of the joint compromise memo, the FIR in Crime No.2093 of 2016 as well as the FIR in Crime No.6 of 2017 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Kodungaiyur Police Station, Chennai-118, are quashed, and the Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of in terms of the joint compromise memo. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
