When the matter was taken up for hearing today, learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the relief sought by the Petitioner has already been granted, as he had been promoted to the post of Superintendent. He has also made an endorsement to the following effect: "The Petitioner has already got promotion as Superintendent and therefore, the matter become infructuous."
