O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to issue patta by measuring the petitioner's land viz., property measuring to a total extent of about 0.73 cents bearing Patta No.3324 comprised in Survey No.565/2A1 in Edanganasalai Village, Sangagiri Taluk, Salem District by disposing of the petitioner's representation dated 20.01.2023.

2. In respect of the land at Survey No.565/2A1 situated at Edanganasalai Village, Sangagiri Taluk, Salem District, the petitioner made an application on 20.01.2023 to the 2nd respondent to survey and identify the four boundaries and the petitioner has given an undertaking that he would pay the necessary fee to that effect to the 2nd respondent. Therefore in order to consider the said application, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard Mr.M.Sudhan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

4. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents would submit that the said application submitted by the petitioner, on payment of fee by the petitioner, would be taken up and considered by the 2nd respondent and needful would be undertaken by completing the survey within a time frame.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner dated 20.01.2023 on receipt of the fee from him and do the needful by completing the survey within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
