O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family and property and to act against the illegal acts/damages caused by Mr.K.Sankar and K.Venkatesan and their men on the basis of petitioner's complaint dated 16.02.2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. According to the petitioner, the said persons, viz., Sankar and Venkatesan along with a group of land grabbers, are making attempts to grab the petitioner's property measuring an extent of 1.65 cents in S.No.255/2B situated in Kondikampatti Varuvai village, Pochampalli taluk, Krishnagiri District and they also threatened the petitioner with dire consequences and also attempted to trespass the property. In such circumstances, the petitioner has lodged a complaint and since no proper action was taken, the present petition is filed.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint, CSR number has been assigned as CSR No.269 of 2015 and after conducting the investigation, it has been closed as no prima facie case is made out to register the case.

4. Since the complaint given by the petitioner was enquired and closed, nothing survives in this petition. Therefore, the petition is closed and the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law, if he so desires.
