The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 16.10.2023 for the offences punishable under Section 366(A), 342, 343 of IPC r/w Section 5(1), 6 of POCSO Act and Section 9 of Prohibition of Child Marriage Act in Crime No.283 of 2022 on the file of the respondent, seek bail.

2.The petitioner is aged 42 years. The victim child is aged 16 years. It is the case of the prosecution that this petitioner had taken the victim child from her natural guardian and had committed penetrative sexual assault on the victim child on several occasions. 3.It is seen from the counter affidavit that investigation has been completed and final report has also been filed. Let the trial proceed in manner known to law.
