When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that pending the writ petition, the first respondent has initiated the proceedings by considering the petitioner's application. Therefore, the petitioner is not pressing the writ petition.

2. The learned Government Advocate has produced a letter dated 12.10.2018 stating that the petitioner's representation has been considered by the first respondent.
