Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for relaxing the norms for promotion to the post of Motor Vehicle Inspector Grade-I for inclusion of his name in the panel of Motor Vehicle Inspector Grade-II, fit for promotion as Motor Vehicle Inspector grade I for the year 2015-2016 in the light of the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2015 within a reasonable time.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition and has also submitted a letter dated 15.10.2015 to the Registry to that effect.
