This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent police to register the complaint dated 20.05.2015.

2. Heard Mr.M.Suresh,learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias,learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is represented that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the Superintendent of Police, Thiruvarur District and the complaint has been forwarded to the same officer for investigation. The same shall be enquired into and action shall be taken in accordance with law as laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs Government of Uttar Pradesh and Others in (2014) 2 SCC 1.
