Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus direction, directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the proposal of the 3rd respondent in Lr.No.851/A/2013, dated 27.02.2014 and was forwarded by the 2nd respondent to the 1st respondent in Lr.No.Ka.No.4132/B3/2013, dated 02.11.2015 in regard to promotion to the post of Lecturer.

The prayer sought for by the writ petitioner is to direct the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the proposal of the 3rd respondent in Lr.No.851/A/2013, dated 27.02.2014, which was forwarded by the 2nd respondent to the 1st https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent in Lr.No.Ka.No.4132/B3/2013, dated 02.11.2015 in regard to promotion to the post of Lecturer.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner urged that the proposal was submitted by the Principal of the Government College of Architecture and Sculpture on 27th February 2014 itself and for the past 3 years no action has been taken to consider the proposals submitted. In view of the pendency of the proposal the writ petitioner is unable to get her promotional opportunities. Considering the nature of the grievances advanced in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to direct the respondents to look into the proposal. Accordingly, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to consider the proposals submitted earlier and pass appropriate orders by considering the representations submitted by the petitioners also and pass orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
