This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 20 days in preferring the appeal against the judgment dated 25.08.2025 made in Crl.A.No.6 of 2025 by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Dharmapuri, reversing the judgment dated 24.04.2024 made in STC.No.65 of 2020 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Magisterial Level, Dharmapuri.

2. Mr.K.Gandhi Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner has miserably failed to explain the delay of 20 days in filing the above appeal and hence, he vehemently opposed for allowing this petition.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. Satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed.
