ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 2 nd respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 13.12.2024, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for the correction in the patta that was issued in Patta No.1287 with respect to the extent of property from 3.2 cents to 4.5 cents.
2.Heard Mr.T.Tirunavukkarasu, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokulkrishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents. 3.It is seen from records that there is a discrepancy insofar as the Survey Number is concerned between the one which has been mentioned in the Sale
3/5 Deed and the one which has been mentioned in the representation and another one which has been mentioned in the relief sought for in the writ petition. In view of the same, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the 2 nd respondent by giving the correct Survey Number and it shall be accompanied by the relevant documents. On receipt of the same, the 2 nd respondent shall conduct an enquiry after affording an opportunity to the 3 rd respondent and take a decision, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the fresh representation from the petitioner. 4.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
