O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learner VI Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai to conduct and complete the trial of the case in C.C.No.2825 of 2013 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that based on the complaint preferred by the respondent, the learned VI Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai has taken the same on file in C.C.No.2825 of 2013. He further submits that the is case is pending for more than four years without any progress. Hence, the petitioner has filed this petition to direct the learned Magistrate to complete the trial within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3. It is seen that the case is pending for trial from the year 2013. As such considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, the learned VI Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai is directed to complete the trial in C.C.No.2825 of 2013 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
