ORDER

This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to call for the records relating to the notice issued by the learned Fast Track Mahila Court, Thiruvallur in CMP No.255 of 2019 in SC No.269 of 2012 dated 06.02.2019 and to set aside the same.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Today, when the case is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing survives in this case as the trial Court had concluded the trial, resulting in acquittal of the Petitioner. A criminal case had been filed to set aside the order passed by the learned Sessions Judge, wherein, a petition filed by the defacto complainant to array the mother of the accused as co-accused was allowed. This Criminal Original Petition was filed seeking to set aside the said order. During the pendency of this criminal original petition, the sessions case itself was disposed of, resulting in acquittal of the accused. Nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Hence, he sought for dismissal of this petition as infructuous.

4.In view of the above submission, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
