ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 1 st respondent to conduct the enquiry on the appeal filed by the petitioner on 10.06.2024 against the land survey report submitted by the 2 nd respondent dated 23.05.2024.

Heard Mrs.R.Varalakshmi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the land survey report given by the 2 nd respondent and hence, has filed an appeal before the 1 st respondent.

The notice was also issued by the 1 st respondent calling for an enquiry.

Thereafter, there was no progress. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the st respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 10.06.2024, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to the th respondent and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
