This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to include the name of the petitioner's club in the 3rd League matches, to be held in Kancheepuram District, on 18.4.2014.

The learned counsels appearing on behalf of the respondents had submitted that the present writ petition has become infructuous, in view of the fact that the league matches had already been held and therefore, the relief prayed for by the petitioner, in the present writ petition, cannot be granted by this Court, at this stage.

In view of the said submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the respondents, the Court is of the considered view that the relief prayed for by the petitioner, in the present writ petition, cannot be granted by this Court.Hence,the writ petition is dismissed, as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
