The present criminal original petition has been filed by the defacto complainant seeking a direction to register the complaint.

Today, when the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submits that based on the complaint given by the defacto complaint, a case has been registered in Crime No.75 of 2017 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323 and 506 (ii) IPC and 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 and 25(1B)(a) of Arms Act , 1959.
