Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent Nos.1 to 3.
2. By consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. This writ petition has been filed to issue a Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2018 and grant permission and police protection to the petitioner to celebrate the "Aadi month temple festival" which is scheduled to be held on 20.08.2018 and 21.08.2018 or in future date in Kaliyamman Temple, situated at Gengavaram Adi Dravidar Colony, Kasangudi Ambedkar Karai,

When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, now, confines his prayer only to the effect that the representation of the petitioner dated 07.08.2018, is to be considered by the respondents and appropriate orders be passed on merits, on which, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has no serious objection.
5. In view of the above submission so made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.08.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
