Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned proceedings in Lr.No.CORP/HR/466/2015, dated 13.04.2015 on the file of the 3rd respondent herein, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to consider the appointment of the petitioner under compassionate ground with all attendant benefits.

ORDER

The petitioner's father - R.Sundaramoorthy, who was working as Senior Technician Grade-II Mechanical in the respondent corporation, died on 07.02.2003, while he was in service. After a lapse of 12 years, an application was made seeking appointment to the petitioner on compassionate ground on 31.03.2015. That application is hopelessly barred by time, which was rightly rejected by the respondent corporation. I do not feel that there is any necessity to interfere with the impugned order.

In the result, the writ petition is dismissed. It is, however, open to the petitioner to seek for any other relief, if his family is entitled to, on approaching the authority. No costs.
