(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the writ petition. Endorsement has been made.

2. On our query, the learned counsel for the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority assures that in so far as the regularization application made in the year 2000 is concerned, necessary decision will be taken on the same, within a maximum period of two months from today.

3. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn in terms aforesaid. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.522 of 2017 is closed.
