This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 87 days in filing the above Criminal Appeal.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent. The learned counsel for the respondent objected for condoning the delay stating that the delay has not been properly explained.
3.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on both sides and on being satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 87 days in filing the Criminal Appeal is condoned and the petition is allowed.
