The petitioner has filed this petition seeking to direct the respondent herein to take into account the entire records placed so far and issue the boat Page No.1 of 6
rider licence.
2. Since no adverse order is being passed, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing.
3. The case of the petitioner is that petitioner approached the respondent and submitted his application along with relevant documents for issuing of license for boat riding. Since, the same was not looked by the concerned authority, the petitioner approached this Court and filed the Writ Petition in W.P.No.25548 of 2022 and in accordance a copy of the order was sent to Block Development Officer wide RPAD Reply letter dated 10.03.2023. Where the Respondent by way of Compliance of the direction of W.P.No.25548 of 2022 had replied vide 10.03.2023 letter assuring that the case of the petitioner would be expeditiously looked into and Boat Rider Licence would be issued. Since, the same had been kept in abeyance, the petitioner made yet another representation on 09.01.2025 vide RPAD duly acknowledged and as on date, no reply was issued and it has gone unheeded. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come up with the present writ Page No.2 of 6
petition.
4. Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has no objection for the said order being passed by this Court.
6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
7. Considering the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case issues Page No.3 of 6
direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2025 on merits, in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. This writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observation and directions. No costs.
