This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to follow the rule of reservation under the Backward Class Muslim (BCM) category, to the extent of 3.5% and consequently to allot a seat to the petitioner in the M.Phil.Psychology course.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3. Therefore, nothing survives in this Writ Petition for further adjudication. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
