The instant writ petition filed for a Mandamus directing the Commissioner to to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 07.07.2012 and 29.08.2012 with regard to promotion as Post Graduate Assistant in Commerce, in accordance to rules.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner has given a letter to the Registrar Judicial, High Court, Madras, stating that the relief has already been considered and he does not want to press the review. The letter dated 09.09.2019 is taken on record and the petitioner has made an endorsement to that effect in the memo of writ petition.
