ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed by the petitioners to direct the first respondent not to harass the petitioners.

2. According to the petitioners, there is a civil dispute between the petitioners and one Selvaraj. Earlier, said Selvaraj gave complaint before the Tahsildar, Uthangarai. The second respondent conducted investigation and closed the said complaint. Thereafter, once again, the said Selvaraj gave the complaint before the second respondent. Now, the second respondent, harassing the petitioners in the name of enquiry without any due process of law.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that in complaint given by one Selvaraj, summons were also issued to the petitioner on 20.2.2015 and on receipt of the same, they appeared for enquiry and the enquiry is still pending.

4. In the above said circumstances, since the enquiry is pending, the petitioners are directed to appear before the first respondent and produce all the necessary documents during the enquiry and they are further directed to co-operate with the first respondent. The first respondent is also directed to complete the enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the first respondent is also directed not to harass the petitioners during enquiry.

5. With the above said directions, the present criminal original petition is closed.
