Order : This petition coming on this day for hearing upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MRS.MYTHREYEE CHANDRU, Special Government Pleader for the petitioners and of MR.G.SANKARAN, Advocate for the Respondent, the court made the following order:- The above C.M.P. is filed to condone the delay of 716 days in filing the writ appeal.

Heard Mrs. Mythreyee Chandru, learned Special Government Pleader for the petitioners and Mr.G. Sankaran, learned counsel for the respondent. Perused the affidavit filed in support of the delay condonation petition.

Though serious objection has been raised by the learned counsel for the respondent for condoning the delay, taking note of the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit that the delay has been caused due to administrative reasons and it is neither wilful nor wanton, the delay is condoned on payment of cost of Rs.5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) in favour of charity organisation, by name, "Anandam Home for Senior Citizens, Anna Street, Gangai Nagar, Kallikuppam, Ambattur, Chennai - 053, (Mobile No.9444953268/9710446131) on or before 21.04.2022, failing which the Registry shall list the C.M.P. on 22.04.2022. 4.
In the event of payment of cost by the petitioners within the time stipulated, Registry is to verify the same and number the writ appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post for admission on 25.04.2022.
