Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to giver permission to the petitioner for conducting dance programme to be held on 25.02.2019, 28.02.2019 and 01.03.2019 at Sri Muthumariamman, Sri Bhagavathiamman, Sri Ongaliamman and Sri Muniappan Swamy, Moalsi Village, Tiruchengode Taluk, Namakkal District.

Mr.E.Balamurugan Special Government Pleader O R D E R Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus to direct the respondent to give permission to the petitioner for conducting dance programme to be held on 25.02.2019, 28.02.2019 and 01.03.2019 at Sri Muthumariamman, Sri Bhavathiamman, Sri Ongaliamman and Sri Muniappan Swamy, Moalsi Village, Tiruchengode Taluk, Namakkal District. The petitioner has also sent a representation dated 06.02.2019 to the respondent in this regard.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent submitted that already a circular memorandum dated 31.10.2018 has been issued by the Director General of Police to all the Station House Officers/Inspectors https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

indicating the conditions to be imposed while considering the grant of permission to "Aadal Padal Programme". Therefore, he submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered by the respondent in the light of the Circular already issued by the Director General of Police dated 31.10.2018.

4. Recording the above said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.02.2019 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law on or before 24.02.2019. No costs.
