Prayer:- Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents 1 to 3 to take necessary action to recover the award amount of compensation for a sum of Rs. 2,80,282/- together with interest at 12% per annum payable to the Petitioner from the Fourth Respondent under revenue recovery as per award dated 12.11.2013 in W.C. No. 35/2012 awarded by the First Respondent.

Heard Mr. R.Thanjan, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. Vadivelu Deenadayalan, Learned Additional Government

Pleader appearing for the First to Third Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

In view of the order proposed to be passed, which would not cause any prejudice to the Fourth Respondent, notice to him is dispensed with.

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the First to Third Respondents to take necessary action to recover the sum of Rs. 2,80,282/- towards compensation together with interest at 12% per annum payable to the Petitioner from the Fourth Respondent under revenue recovery as per the award dated 12.11.2013 in W.C. No. 35 of 2012 passed by the First Respondent.

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the First to Third Respondents has produced the Letter in D.O. Lr. No. G3/5019/2020 dated 25.04.2022 from the Second Respondent to the Third Respondent seeking to recover the amount due to the Petitioner under the award dated 12.11.2013 in W.C. No. 35 of 2012 passed by the First Respondent from the Fourth Respondent as arrears of land revenue and its copy has been placed on record.

If the Petitioner requires any legal assistance for collecting the amount from the Fourth Respondent at Thane in the State of Maharashtra, he may avail the services the Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority through the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority in that regard. Further, if he still has any other grievance to be redressed in the matter, he is not precluded from working out his rights before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law. In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed on the aforesaid terms. No costs.
