Respondents Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the 2nd respondent police to register the complaint against the proposed named persons on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner to the respondents and the first respondent who in turn forwarded the same to the second respondent dated 21.12.2015.

This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police to register the complaint against the proposed named persons on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner to the respondents and the first respondent who in turn forwarded the same to the second respondent dated 21.12.2015.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint dated 21.12.2015 has been given by the petitioner to the District Collector, Kancheepuram. Under such circumstances, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent police to register an FIR.
